Highland Orthodontics was established in 2005 by Specialist Orthodontist, Christopher Buchanan BDS, MFDS, MOrth. In 2007 Chris opened the custom built practice on Kenneth Street in Inverness offering both private and NHS treatment to patients requiring orthodontic treatment.
Originally from Inverness, Christopher studied for and gained a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at The University of Glasgow Dental School in 1998. After his general professional training in Glasgow, Christopher started his Specialist training at Liverpool University and on graduation worked for a year in Liverpool and Chester before returning home to open Highland Orthodontics. He is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and is registered as a Specialist in Orthodontics with the General Dental Council.
Using state-of-the-art technology and a fully computerised practice management system in a modern, spacious environment we aim to ensure that your visits to our practice are as smooth and stress-free as possible. Our digital x-ray equipment allows images to be viewed immediately at chair side. All our staff keep up-to-date with the latest developments in orthodontics, and regularly attend courses to continually offer our patients the newest treatments available and the highest quality of service.
